Artist's Description
Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. -John 1:29
And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called [the place] of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: -John 19:17
About Steve Gamba
My painting style is best described as expressive realism - Bold color palettes and expressive brush strokes, with underlying graphic elements deconstructing the subject into organic shapes. I have a fascination with light and shadow and prefer to paint with a pure color spectrum.

I love this piece. I am actually using it in my art analysis term paper. Hopefully I can find more sources than just your web page as well as this one.
